Hello
I'm Amey Little. I am a Birth Doula, Birth Photographer, and Certified Lactation Specialist dedicated to supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I believe the body is designed to grow, birth, and nourish new life, and my work focuses on providing education, encouragement, and compassionate support during each stage of motherhood.
Since becoming a Certified Lactation Specialist in 2020, I have helped hundreds of families meet their breastfeeding goals through my work with the Hillsdale WIC office. I understand that every pregnancy and postpartum experience is unique, and I strive to provide fact-based information alongside personalized care to help families feel confident and supported.
I’m honored to support growing families and walk alongside parents as they welcome their babies with confidence and care.

My Story

My passion for birth and breastfeeding support began with my own journey into motherhood. I became a mother in 1999 and am blessed with three boys and one girl. Motherhood shaped my life and inspired my career path.
After the birth of my first son, I made the decision to leave corporate America and become a stay-at-home mom. Breastfeeding quickly became something I deeply valued for the connection it created and the confidence it gave me as a new mother.
As my children grew, I returned to the workforce as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at the Hillsdale WIC office. Through this role, I saw the significant need for hands-on breastfeeding and postpartum support. Becoming a doula was a natural next step, allowing me to support women during labor, birth, and the early postpartum period.
Supporting women as they step into motherhood is at the core of my work. I’m passionate about helping families feel informed, empowered, and never alone during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives.
